This product allows the safe removal of textured coatings without causing dust from harmful Asbestos fibres. In the United Kingdom, some plaster-type textured coatings (mainly sold before the mid-1980's) may contain harmful Asbestos fibres, such as Artex® and Polytex®
Product Features: Water-based, Non-hazardous, Non-caustic, pH-neutral, Solvent-free, Non-flammable, Non-combustible, Minimal evaporation. Clings 100% to all surfaces - including: vertical surfaces and ceilings, Minimal VOC content; 0.000004%, as certified by an independent laboratory, following a flame ionisation detection test. Does not give off fumes - no need for ventilation, Suitable for use by and near people with respiratory problems, such as asthma sufferers. Non-irritant - does not cause skin burns - safe to use around children and pets, Wet working system - keeps wet and working for up to 24 hours. Re-wet if the product dries out. When working on plasterboard / sheetrock, timing has to be watched, to ensure the plasterboard / sheetrock substrate is not softened. Most plastics and fibreglass (may etch certain types of plastics)
