Delivery and Handling

Rounded Developments Enterprises / Eco Home Centre only deliver within the UK and does not ship products internationally. There are increased costs for shipping to certain areas of the UK, notably the North of Ireland, the Islands and Highlands and the Isle of Man. These should appear on the shipping schedule once you input your postcode.

Wherever possible all outgoing parcels are packed using materials re-cycled in-house, reducing the waste we generate and our resource consumption.

We use either first class post from Royal Mail or courier services from Fedex as selected by the class of service option during checkout. Sometimes when a package is heavier than costed by the website we use other couriers that might be cheaper. This tends to be when people have chosen a Second Class Post option. Commonly we use Hermes Couriers for this type of 2/3 day service. By default this is the cheapest option for the weight of goods you purchased except for paints and other bulk liquids, such as wood treatment products, which must be shipped via courier. In addition there is a standard £1 handling / packing charge on all orders.

For most products we offer free delivery for orders over £199 inc VAT. However for bulky and heavy items like plaster, render and insulation we may have to charge an additional delivery fee. This will be done at cost price to us.

Delivery Schedule

All orders are normally dispatched within 7 working days; if there is likely to be a delay we inform you as soon as possible. Tuesday to Friday we aim to ship within one day of receiving an order and orders received before 11am are usually dispatched same day. Orders placed after 11am on Friday, any time on Saturday or Sunday are not packed until Tuesday at the earliest. If goods are out of stock then delivery will be dependent on suppliers. Most of these are via next day delivery, but this can not be guaranteed.

Most deliveries will be via Next-Day (City Link) delivery. This means that all goods will be delivered by 17.30. Please ensure that you leave special instructions for delivery if you goods are to be left on the property / signed for by a neighbour etc.

Refunds

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. So if you are unhappy with your goods for any reason, you can return any item in its original condition, within 14 days of receipt for a replacement or a full refund. Note that for Lindab and Teplo Tie orders there is a 25% restocking charge and goods must be shipped at the customers expense.

You also have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days without giving a reason and return the goods to Rounded Developments Enterprises for a full refund. Any refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation. Your statutory rights are not affected. Note that for Lindab and Teplo Tie orders there is a 25% restocking charge and goods must be shipped at the customers expense.
